Dutch fashion brand Daily Paper has signed a 6,000 SF retail lease at Solar Realty’s 18 Delancey Street, CO first reported. The flagship store will occupy the entire building, which includes two floors of store space, the basement, and a rooftop.
- Be Smart: Asking rent on the five-year lease was $360,000 per year.
- Dig Deeper: The Lower East Side building is located at the corner of Chrystie Street, and has been upgraded to accommodate its new use. The interior was designed by architect and designer Heather Faulding of 4plus Design, and includes a coffee shop, lounge, and eventually a rooftop space.
- Brokers: Newmark’s Andrew Stern and Tyler King represented the landlord, while Claire Chapin of Selene represented the tenant.
