7-Eleven has signed leases for three new Manhattan locations in Times Square, NoMad, and Tribeca, CO first reported. The national chain is taking advantage of opportunities presented by the dislocation in the retail market.
- 7-Eleven signed a 3,471-square-foot lease at KRW Realty Advisors’ 675 Eighth Avenue between West 42nd and West 43rd Streets.
- The national chain signed a 2,800-square-foot lease at the base of Greystar’s condo development at 800 Sixth Avenue between West 27th and West 28th Streets.
- The convenience store chain signed a 2,500-square-foot lease at the base of Clipper Equity’s residential property 110 Church Street in Tribeca.
Worth Noting: All three locations are expected to open in the first quarter of 2021.
Heard on the Street: Scott Sher of Katz & Associates brokered the deals and told CO: “7-Eleven is a great tenant in any real estate market, and they’ve been exceptional to work with during these unique and challenging times… “They are leveraging the opportunity to find new locations that, in some cases, may not have been available to them prior to the pandemic.” [CO]
