Insurance startup Policygenius has inked a 12-year lease for 85,000 SF at RXR Realty’s 32 Old Slip. The firm is taking the entire 30th and 31st floors as well as part of the fifth floor at the 36-story building, CO first reported.
- Dig Deeper: The deal was reportedly signed last week, but we couldn’t determine the ‘overall taking rent’. Asking rent was $65 per SF on the fifth floor and $75 per SF on the higher floors. Policygenius is vacating its 31,000-square-foot space at Two Trees‘ 50 West 23rd Street.
- Worth Noting: The FiDi office building spans 1.15 million SF, and this lease brings its occupancy to 98 percent. RXR landed a $404 million Refi from Mesa West Capital in April 2019.
