Acquisitions

  • The Chetrit family and Jacob Aini have entered into a contract to acquire a development site at 622-628 West 153rd Street in Washington Heights for $30 million. The partners intend to build a 28-story, 135,000-square-foot luxury residential project on the site. (TRD)

Financing 

  • The Collective has secured a $75 million construction loan from ACRES Capital for its latest co-living development at 292 North 8th Street in Williamsburg. (CO)
  • Merchants Capital, working with Freddie Mac and the New York City Housing Development Corporation, has provided a $66 million permanent, risk-share loan on Goddard Riverside Community Center‘s affordable housing property at 595 Columbus Avenue in the Upper West Side. (CO)

  • Skateboarding and surf-wear clothing brand PacSun has signed a short-term lease for 10,000 square feet on the ground floor of HSR Corp’s 503 Broadway. Asking rent on the deal was $450 per SF. (CO)
