Engineering and consulting firm SYSTRA has signed a 10-year lease for 14,295 square feet on part of the fifth floor of the Rudin family’s 55 Broad Street. Asking rents in the FiDi building are $52 per square foot. (CO)

Viral restaurateur Salt Bae will open up a second New York City outpost in the Meatpacking District. He inked 12,176-square-foot lease to open his Nusr-Et steakhouse at Rockpoint Group and Highgate Holdings’ 412 West 15th Street. (CO)

By the end of 2021, the city will have more than 144,000 rooms available to visitors — and 3,900 of these will have come from the 20 new hotels that opened in 2019. More are on the horizon: Hotels in the construction pipeline include 56 in Manhattan, 21 in Brooklyn, 37 in Queens, eight in the Bronx and one in Staten Island.
