Elie Hirschfeld’s Hirschfeld Properties has acquired 207 East 94th Street from Glenwood Management for $28.5 million, according to TRD. The five-story office building spans 38,654 square feet, and is located between Second and Third Avenues.
- Be Smart: Glenwood is run by the late Leonard Litwin’s daughter Carole Pittelman and longtime executive Gary Jacob. Litwin instructed his heirs to avoid selling the company’s buildings, and this divestiture of a non-core asset should not be seen as the beginning of a trend.
- Tenants in the fully occupied building include: Seleni House Foundation and the Gillen Brewer School.
- Worth Noting: Glenwood recently landed Refi’s for two core multi-family buildings… Prudential Multifamily Mortgage provided $127 million for 300 East 75th Street, and $102 million for 1365 York Avenue.
