Facebook signs lease at Hudson Yards

Facebook has signed a lease for more than 1.5 million square feet of office space at Hudson Yards. The social media giant plans to keep its existing spaces at 770 Broadway (680,131 SF), 225 Park Avenue South (213,024 SF), and 335 Madison Avenue (40,000 SF). 

  • Lease breakdown: The deal includes 1.2 million square feet at 50 Hudson Yards, 265,000 square feet at 30 Hudson Yards (100% committed), and 57,000 square feet at 55 Hudson Yards (99% committed). The lease spreads across 30 floors of space in the three buildings, according to CO.
  • Worth Noting: The 78-story, 50 Hudson Yards is now 75 percent pre-leased two and a half years before its completion. BlackRock will anchor the building as noted by the NYPost.
  • Keeping track: 50 and 55 Hudson Yards were developed by Related + Mitsui Fudosan America + Oxford Properties Group, while 30 Hudson Yards was developed by Related + Oxford.
