Foot Locker inks lease at 90 West 225th Street

Foot Locker has signed a 10-year lease at Washington Square Partners’ 90 West 225th Street in the South Bronx. The retailer will open a 4,727 SF store this year. 

  • Be Smart: Asking rent for retail in the shopping center ranges from $75 to $85 per SF. Other tenants that have recently renewed at the multi-building complex include City Jeans, Marshall’s, Target and Sprint.
  • Worth Noting: Foot Locker recently leased 25,000 SF for an experiential concept (AKA Power Store) at Marx Realty’s 605 West 181st Street in Washington Heights, where it will offer a barbershop, gaming zone, and event space.
