H.I.G. Capital inks lease at 1271 Avenue of the Americas
Private equity firm will move to Rockefeller Group’s office tower after renovations are complete

H.I.G. Capital has signed a 57,829-square-foot office lease at Rockefeller Group’s 1271 Avenue of the Americas. The lease spans the entire 23rd floor and a portion of the 22nd floor.
Be Smart: Asking rent on the deal was in the $90s per square foot, according to the NYPost.
Worth Noting: The 1.9 million-square-foot property (AKA Time & Life Building) is currently 77 percent leased. After Time Inc. vacated the office building in 2016, Rockefeller undertook major renovations ($600 million), which are set to be finished by the end of the year. Other tenants include: Latham & Wakins (406,000 SF), Blank Rome (138,000 SF), Bessemer Trust (240,000 SF), Mizuho, and Major League Baseball, CO noted.
