Fintech startup YieldStreet has raised a $62 million series B round led by Edison Partners. Greenspring Associates and Raine Ventures also participated, according to TechCrunch.
What they do: The platform allows individuals to invest in alternative assets, such as real estate and commercial loans. Until now, participation was limited to investors who made at least $200,000 a year or a had a net worth of over $1 million. With this new round of funding, YieldStreet will make a concerted effort to open its investments to all, according to VentureBeat.
