Khosla Ventures leads funding round for rental insurance startup

Jetty has raised a $25 million Series B round led by Khosla Ventures. The rental insurance startup has now raised a total of $40.5 million.
What they do: The startup seeks to simplify the process of providing renters with insurance. Renters and landlords also benefit from tools to streamline deposits, and are offered to have Jetty serve as a guarantor on their lease.
Be Smart: SoftBank-backed Lemonade is the king of the real estate insurance space. They have raised $180 million at a valuation of $600 million.
