Atlas Capital scoops up 601 West 110th Street

Building currently serves as Barnard dorm

Atlas Capital Group has acquired 601 West 110th Street from Richard Born for $72.2 million, according to TRD+CO. The Morningside Heights rental building spans 164,315 SF, and contains 150 units.

Worth Noting: Barnard College leases space in the building to serve as a dormitory for around 183 students. The property also has ground-floor retail space, which is leased to The Vitamin Shoppe, Chipotle, and Five Guys.

Be Smart: Meyer Orbach sold a five-building portfolio (117,864 SF) with 130 units nearby for $57 million. He also sold 203, 210, 220, and 230 West 107th Street to Emerald Equity Group for $116 million. Lastly, he sold 204 West 108th Street to Gili Haberberg for $32.5 million.
