RET Ventures led the round
SmartRent has raised a $5 million series A round from RET Ventures. This brings the total money raised to $9.5 million for the multi-family management platform. The news was first reported by TechCrunch.
What they do: Using smart home technology, the startup provides landlords and property managers tools to monitor their units and enhance the tenant experience. It hopes to also provide technology to help identify leaks or faulty equipment, and use remote access control for door locks.
