Sumitomo Mitsui provided the debt
SJP Properties and Mitsui Fudosan America have secured $425.8 million in financing from Sumitomo Mitsui for their planned residential project at 200 Amsterdam Avenue, according to the CO. Upon completion, the Upper West Side tower will span 283,000 square feet, and contain 112 condos.
Financing breakdown: The package includes $265.8 million in new debt and refinances a portion of the $160 million acquisition loan. The developers are eyeing a $732 million sellout.
Flashback: The partnership paid $275 million for the site in 2015. It’s located between West 67th and West 68th Streets.
