RCR Management buys 80 and 86 Fort Washington Avenue

Sellers are Mike Spira and the late Joshua Sternhell

RCR Management has entered into contract to acquire 80 and 86 Fort Washington Avenue from Mike Spira and the late Joshua Sternhell for around $47 million. The two adjacent multi-family properties sit between West 162nd and West 163rd Streets. 

Property info: The Washington Heights properties span a total of 138,228 square feet, and contain 140 apartments. 80 Fort Washington Avenue consists of 75 units, while 86 Fort Washington Avenue has 65 apartments, according to PropertyShark.

Historical context: Spira bought these properties as part of a portfolio it bought from Sentinel Real Estate for $101.5 million in 2016. The properties also included 66-72 Fort Washington Avenue and 838 and 884 Riverside Drive, according to TRD.
