Ditmas Management buys 160 East 89th Street

Capital One provided the acquisition financing

Aaron Sirulnick’s Ditmas Management has acquired 160 East 89th Street from William Diamond and Joan Steinberg for $55.1 million. The Upper East Side rental is located between Lexington and Third Avenues. It spans 63,272 square feet, and contains 51 apartments.

Worth Noting: The sellers are the children of the late develop Sidney R. Diamond. Rose Associates has managed the property since September 2014, according to the CO.

Unit Breakdown: The Carnegie Hill rental consists of 30 studios / one-bedrooms, and 26 two-bedroom apartments. The building also contains a 2,500 square feet of commercial space occupied by Connect Hearing on the first floor.

Acquisition financing: Ditmas secured an $11.3 million loan from Capital One to close the deal.
