Vacation rental management startup continues its fundraising prowess
Vacasa has raised $64 million in a Series B bridge round led by Riverwood. Other investors included Level Equity, Assurant, and Newspring. The vacation rental management company has now raised $207.5 million, according to GeekWire.
What they do: The startup lists owners properties on short-term rental platforms (Airbnb), and even sends local cleaners in between guests. It now manages 10,600 vacation rental properties.
Interesting idea: With this new money, Vacasa will expand into real estate brokerage. It plans to sell properties to people who want to own and rent out a vacation home.
