Retail startup, Re:Store raised a $1.7 million seed round from Sequoia Capital, 122West Ventures, and Ruchi Sanghvi of South Park Commons.
What they do: Online brands pay a monthly fee (around $550) for a spot in a shared retail space, and give 20 percent of their sales to the startup, according to Fortune.
New concept: Think of it like co-working for retail. Should be interesting to monitor if startups like these gain traction.
