Macy’s led the Series B Round
Retail startup b8ta raised a $19 million Series B round led by Macy’s, which brings the company’s total funding to $39 million, according to TechCrunch.
What they do: The startup sells tech products in a physical store for companies that don’t have a retail footprint of their own. It primarily serves small tech companies who have a difficult time breaking into big stores.
Quotable: Founder Vibhu Norby: “It’s not that retail itself is dying, it’s just that it’s changing. The way people want to shop is changing and we have a shared alignment on bringing that next generation of a company into the space.”
