Startup Hello Alfred raised $40 million in a Series B round. The company offers an alternative to a traditional property manager, according to TechCrunch who first reported the news.
How it works: In addition to the standard management of a property, the firm provides tenants with a dedicated assistant to provide hotel-style hospitality. With a mobile app, tenants can request that their assistant bring their clothes to the dry cleaners or restock their fridge.
Investors: The round was led by DivcoWest and Invesco, and also included New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and Spark Capital.
