Fresh funding round values the startup at a whopping $500M
Knotel closed a $70 million funding round at a valuation of $500 million, according to the WSJ. The WeWork rival has now raised close to $100 million.
Notable Real Estate investors include: Newmark, Moinian Group, Wolfson Group, Sapir Organization and Wainbridge Capital.
Why it matters: Hard to believe that a company founded in 2016 is already valued at $500 million. We still haven’t identified how Knotel has distinguished itself from its co-working competitors.
Blockchain Bonanza: Knotel developed a minimal blockchain service that records commercial-property listings. This added mystique to their pitch.
