HubHaus raises Series A

Co-living Startup HubHaus has raised a Series A round of $10 million from Social Capital, according to Forbes.

What they do: The company rents out large houses and then subleases out the individual bedrooms to renters. Think of it like a college dorm for adults!

Why it matters: With well-funded competitors such as WeLive, Ollie, PMGx, Pure House, Roam and Founder House, the venture capital world continues to pour money into co-living. Interestingly, the concept has yet to really take off. Asides for the standard objection of privacy, millennials continue to find roommates on their own or through social media.
